We are were the first CrossFit Box in Tauranga and the Bay of Plenty, we were established in 2011 and have been growing and changing ever since. As one of the leading CrossFit facilities in New Zealand, we teach and train all kinds of people from elite sports people to grandparents and families to service personal in the military, fire service, and police, we work to grow their knowledge in fitness and nutrition so they can live healthier and fitter lives.

We have a very unique program at Mount CrossFit and CrossFit Tauranga, so we start all prospective new students with a complimentary introduction session. We assign intro members their own trainer to help them out in one of our main classes, this gives them the chance to feel the great vibe and atmosphere we have and they get a fun, safe workout too. It’s a great way for you to see if our facilities are a good fit for you! We’ll also answer all your questions about membership, programs, and pricing. Please note for safety reasons we have limited spaces available for free trials so bookings are essential.

What to expect
Our classes are designed to be all inclusive with the opportunity to get a taste of what CrossFit is all about. CrossFit is hard work so don’t expect it to be easy, but do expect to have loads of fun with like-minded people. Our classes are made up of all inclusive exercises involving warm-up, technique, bodyweight exercises and weighted exercises with a focus on functional movement.
If you’re willing to work hard, dig deep and finish with a smile – you will be coming back for more!
What should you bring
You’ll need to wear comfortable workout clothes and running or cross training shoes. Also make sure to bring a bottle of water and most importantly a positive “can-do” attitude!
Visiting Mount CrossFit?
We love nothing more than having visiting CrossFitters from other boxes come and “throw down” with us. Please email us and let us know when you will be arriving. If you are just passing through town, we charge a drop-in fee.
